Is there a Program for Voice chat rooms?

what i want, is a privat room for chatting with my friends i do not want like, an msn, or yahoo messenger, and i would like to be able to make my own chat rooms and iwould like it to be free i am also using this for a game-based thing thanks in advance is there any program out there like this?

1. Ventrilo, commonly know as "Vent"--- abosolutly free and it even works ingame so u don't have to minimize all the time also, Xfire works too. that's what i use but Vent is more popular for voice chats both are ingame
