I own a Skype Headset for my PC and want to adapt it for my PSP. Does such an adapter exist?

My current headset has separate headphone and microphone jacks for output, but also came with an adapter for standard USB. I also have a 2000 series PSP if that's important. I really don't want to drop the money for a special PSP Headset, but it would be nice to have the ability to access Skype from my PSP anytime.
