free VOIP calling to cell phone? I just started a study abroad program in the UK from the US. I have a UK cell phone, but everytime my fiance tries to skype me, it costs him 25 cents. Is there a program out there that allow him to call me for free (or cheaper), or that will take a UK or US number and forward to my cell, or call my directly from the internet for free? If he was calling a US number or UK landline, he'd only pay 2 cents a minute, and I don't think its fair to increase the price for a cell phone.

Anyways this is the scenario. Normally, I would connect modem --> router --> voip adapter If I do this, call forwarding would not work. I would do *72 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx like I was told to but it wouldn't work Then I connected it like this modem --> voip adapter --> router If I do this, call forwarding works but the only problem is, my internet connection is not stable...especially when I'm playing games. voip buster disconnects after about 1 minute? I use VOIP Buster to call destinations around the world for cheap or free calls, but it keeps disconnecting me in middle of the calls. There are no other problems with the system, no delays and it has great voice quality. My friend with same internet connection and same city haven't got this problem. My modem is U.S Robotics 9107 4 Port Modem, All ports mentioned on the VOIP Buster FAQ are forwarded, also allowed them in my firewall software (Zone Alarm). I tried turning off Zone Alarm and doing DMZ for the router, but it still has the same problem.

Having trouble with bueno.com a free voip site? Ok i would be using earthcaller but i can't download service pack 2 so yeah. Anyways I have been calling people on bueno.com right, on internet explorer of course because it only works on that, and I inputted a logitech usb microphone. Free phone line over ADSL? A friend tells me that using a fax modem in your computer and an ADSL internet connection, you can create a second phone line. He tells me that this is not VOiP, and involves tricking the modem into using the adsl connection rather than the phone line, and plugging a standard phone into the fax modem allows you to make and recieve calls on this virtual line. Is this true, and how can I do it? I cannot seem to find an an answer to this question from searching the web, all I get is VOiP related results, which my friend assures me this is not.
